I fell in love working with the geriatric population in the mundane rehabilitation rooms. That’s where stories unfolded, laugher lingered and resilience has a new meaning daily. There, I witnessed the impact of healing power of human touch, of presence, of compassion. My clinical practice is rooted in honoring lived experiences, connecting deeply, and helping others move – both physically and emotionally – through pain and possibility.
I am proud of being the first generation college graduate and first doctorate-holder in my immediate family. My journey has been one of intentional growth, persistent perseverance and respect for the unseen labor that shapes who we are.
I am bilingual in Vietnamese and English with a splash of ASL. So is my son, with the hopes of opening his world to trace back to his roots. Together, we navigate the beauty of culture, language, and legacy in softness and strength.
Whether I’m providing care, writing, or parenting, I believe in the power of healing through human connection. This sacred art is often lost in the era of AI and advancing technology. I am passionate about people, about the big loud moments that shape us, and the small quiet moments that invite us to grow.
Welcome to my village. You belong here.
